We've spent the last 8 years shipping plants for millions of e-commerce orders. Over the years, we've developed unique packaging that allows us to ship plants ranging from two inches to five feet. We are so confident in our shipping capabilities that we guarantee a healthy plant delivery on every order.
The cost of each plant varies on the wholesale plant cost and shipping cost. You don't have to pay until a customer places an order. The cost of shipping is based on how many plants are in each order baed off weight. All shipping charges are 100% a flow through and there is no mark-up.
We promise that every plant will come in good condition, rain or shine, or we'll send you a new one. Before sending out any plants, we make sure they are in healthy and carefully pack them. Damages can happen, though, if the shipping company handles the package too roughly. When this happens, share a picture with us and we will work with your to make it right.
We own and operate two greenhouse distribution facitlites in Southern California and Central Florida. Surrounded by all the prominent plant growers in the US, our greenhouses are strategically based to ensure the plants are in transit for the shortest amount of time.
100% our plants are grown in Southern California or Central Florida. We grow plants in our greenhouses as well as partner with some of the best indoor plant growers in the US to supply plants for your orders.
Your customer's order will be packed and shipped out within 1-4 business days upon receipt. Shipping lead times varies nationwide but with our bi-coastal greenhouse distribution centers we aim to keep shipping transit times between 2-4 business days.
Operations
HousePlantDropship is a platform that facilitates the dropshipping of plants for entrepreneurs. We work with plant farmers in Southern California and Florida to source healthy plants, which are then shipped directly to your customers from our greenhouses. You simply place orders on our website, and we handle the rest.
We offer nationwide plant dropshipping, ensuring that your customers receive healthy plants regardless of their location. Our partner farmers in Southern California and Florida provide optimal conditions for growing strong plants year-round.
We offer auto-integration options for Shopify and Woo-Commerce webstores. These integrations streamline the ordering process and help keep your inventory updated. For more information on integrating your store, please contact us.
Our monthly membership fee is $30/month. This fee allows you to access our platform, view prices, and place orders. There are no order minimums. We also offer a discount for customers who reach around $50,000 in sales per month.
You can export our inventory file and import it into your online shop. To ensure accurate inventory levels, we recommend updating it at least three times weekly. Our active inventory sheet can be found under the resources tab on our website’s main navigation.
While we strive for accurate order fulfillment, issues can arise during shipping. If you encounter problems such as damaged plants, please email info@houseplantdropship.com with a picture and order number. We will manage refunds and replacements as needed.
Sales & Marketing
We don’t enforce Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) for plants. You have the flexibility to price plants based on your strategy. Some partners offer lower-priced plants with shipping charges, while others provide free shipping on all items. We provide pricing examples to guide you.
For a 4" house plant delivered, with a wholesale cost of $5 and a shipping cost of $9, we suggest pricing between $20-$27. Similarly, for a 6" house plant delivered, with a wholesale cost of $12 and a shipping cost of $15, we recommend pricing between $33-$50.
If you’re placing manual order entries, you’ll be charged in real time as you complete the checkout process on our website. Payment options include Credit Card and Paypal. For auto-integration partners, you’ll be billed as orders are fulfilled, using your set-up payment method (Credit Card or ACH).
f you need to update the shipping address for an order, please email info@houseplantdropship.com as soon as possible. Orders usually ship within 24-48 hours, so prompt communication is important.
We understand that issues can occur during transit, and plant shipping requires special care. If your customers have complaints or receive damaged plants, email us at info@houseplantdropship.com with the order number and a picture of the issue. We’ll manage refunds and replacements accordingly.
We provide a Dropbox folder containing listing photos of our available plant products. These assets are designed to make it easier for you to list and sell our plants on your digital store. You can use these photos for the items we ship on your behalf.
Billing & Policies
The monthly membership fee of $30 is billed to your preferred payment method on a recurring basis. This fee grants you access to our platform, allowing you to view prices, place orders, and utilize our services.
When placing manual orders on our website, you can choose to pay using Credit Card or Paypal at checkout. This gives you flexibility in selecting the payment method that suits your preference.
For partners utilizing auto-integration with Shopify and Woo-Commerce, orders are billed in real time as they are fulfilled. Payments are processed using your established payment method, either Credit Card or ACH, depending on your setup.

Our shipping costs vary based on the weight of the order. We offer a tiered pricing structure that ranges from $7.50 for orders weighing 0.01 - 0.75 lb to freight orders for 100.01 lb and higher. Refer to our provided shipping cost breakdown for detailed pricing information.
