House Plant Dropship: Dropshipping Agreement & Policies

Shipping Advisory

Before placing an order, all dropshippers are required to ensure that Winter Shipping Protection is added to their orders if the average daytime temperature in the destination area drops below 45°F. The failure to include this protection may result in plant damage for which House Plant Dropship assumes no liability. Orders shipped without this protection that suffer from cold-related damage will not be eligible for refunds or replacements.


Dropshipping Terms & Conditions

General Terms

Participation in the House Plant Dropship program constitutes full agreement with all outlined policies, procedures, and terms of service. All products are sold at wholesale pricing without any required minimum order quantities. Orders placed through the dropshipping program will be fulfilled with generic packing slips that do not include branding, custom labels, or special inserts. Shipping and handling fees include packaging and labor costs, ensuring that each order is prepared and dispatched efficiently. All orders will be shipped in blank packaging to maintain a neutral appearance.

House Plant Dropship exclusively services the continental United States. Orders outside of this geographic area will not be processed. The responsibility for handling customer communications, including inquiries, returns, and exchanges, rests solely with the dropshipper. It is the dropshipper’s obligation to ensure clear and professional communication with its customers regarding shipping times, product availability, and return policies.


Confidentiality Agreement

All parties engaged in a business relationship with House Plant Dropship acknowledge and agree to uphold strict confidentiality with respect to proprietary information, trade secrets, and all other forms of confidential data exchanged throughout the course of business. This obligation applies indefinitely, even in the event that the business relationship is terminated. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, pricing structures, supplier details, inventory levels, and any internal documentation provided by House Plant Dropship. Each party is expected to protect this information with the same degree of security that it applies to its own proprietary data and to prevent unauthorized distribution, disclosure, or misuse.


Listing & Inventory Management

House Plant Dropship replenishes its inventory on a weekly basis, specifically between Wednesday and Friday. Dropshippers should anticipate periodic fluctuations in stock availability and plan their listings accordingly. Only products officially listed in the House Plant Dropship catalog are eligible for shipment. New SKUs that are not currently part of the catalog may be submitted for approval. If approved, those SKUs will be added to the general catalog and made available to all participating dropshipping partners. Exclusivity for specific SKUs is not permitted.

Inventory cannot be reserved for future orders or set aside for later fulfillment. Any promotional modifications, add-ons, or enhancements to product listings must be created and maintained by the dropshipping partner on their own platform. If an item becomes oversold and cannot be fulfilled due to inventory constraints, a refund will be issued to the retailer for the out-of-stock product.


Processing & Special Request Policy

Dropshippers requiring bulk import processing will be subject to a service charge of $10 per batch or every 100 orders processed. Special handling, labor-intensive services, or any request outside the standard picking, packing, and shipping process will incur an additional labor charge of $50 per hour. Requests for manual order modifications, address changes, or custom handling must be submitted within 24 hours of order processing to be considered.


Sales & Marketing Compliance

House Plant Dropship does not provide customized marketing materials or branded inserts. If a dropshipping partner wishes to include additional marketing materials, such materials must be pre-approved and prepared for immediate inclusion at the time of fulfillment. Custom packing slips, branded invoices, and any form of customized documentation are not permitted within the fulfillment process.

Any notes added to an order will be printed directly onto the generic packing slip without modification. Dropshippers are expected to ensure that their marketing efforts align with House Plant Dropship’s policies and that all promotional materials accurately reflect the products being sold.


Fees, Payment Terms, & Account Management

House Plant Dropship does not impose a Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policy, and dropshipping partners retain full control over the pricing of the products they resell. Payments for all orders must be made at the time of purchase. Orders will not be processed until payment has been received and cleared.

For integrated partners utilizing direct invoicing, invoices will be issued during the first week of each month, reflecting the total fees for shipments made during the previous month. Payments on these invoices must be received no later than the 20th of each month. Any outstanding balance beyond this due date will incur a late fee of 2% per week until the balance is paid in full.

Dropshipping partners are responsible for calculating, charging, and remitting applicable state sales taxes. Failure to comply with sales tax regulations will result in immediate suspension of the account. If a retailer’s account is overdue and unpaid (excluding charges under reasonable and good faith dispute), House Plant Dropship reserves the right to suspend fulfillment services without liability until all outstanding balances have been resolved.


Product Listing & Image Usage

Retailers are permitted to set their own pricing for products sold through the House Plant Dropship program. When listing items for sale, dropshippers may utilize the product descriptions and images provided in the official catalog. However, it is strongly encouraged that retailers use in-house photography to differentiate their listings in online marketplaces.

Images and descriptions used must accurately reflect the quality and condition of the products offered. If customer disputes arise due to misrepresentation of a product, House Plant Dropship will not be held responsible for issuing refunds or replacements.


Returns, Refunds, & Issue Resolution

House Plant Dropship guarantees that all plants will arrive in a healthy condition if ordered and shipped under proper conditions. Address changes for processed orders must be submitted within 24 hours. During colder months, dropshippers must ensure that a heat pack is added to orders being shipped to colder states. Any order shipped without the necessary heat protection will not be eligible for replacement or refund if damage occurs.

Delays caused by shipping couriers, including lost-in-transit packages, are not covered under the guarantee policy. However, in the event that plants arrive damaged due to factors within our control, the dropshipping partner may request either a refund or replacement.

If an entire order arrives damaged, a full refund will be issued, covering the cost of the products, shipping, labor, and packaging. For orders containing multiple items, if only a portion of the order is affected, the refund will be limited to the cost of the damaged items. Shipping and handling costs will not be refunded unless all items in the order were affected. For single-item orders, a full refund will be issued if the item is damaged.

To initiate a refund or replacement, the dropshipping partner must submit a request via email to info@houseplantdropship.com, providing the order details, shipping information, and clear photographic evidence of the damaged items. For dropshipping partners utilizing auto-integration, issue orders should be documented using the designated tracking form. Only one replacement order will be issued per claim. Refunds will be processed within three to five business days.

House Plant Dropship is a small business and aims to resolve all issues as promptly as possible. However, during periods of high demand, response times may take up to one to two business days.

Participation in the House Plant Dropship program constitutes full agreement to these policies and terms. House Plant Dropship reserves the right to amend or modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to all dropshipping partners in a timely manner. Continued participation in the program after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
